
Look at what was in my yard in early February! I would have been smart to stay here,

but Mommie let me go out on the deck to explore! I'm glad that the deck has a roof over part of it. There's a lot of cold, wet stuff beyond.

Hmm. I'm not so sure about this.

This is about as deep as I like to go.

No wonder Mommie didn't worry that I would run away. There's a tall wall of white stuff fencing me in.

Things don't look much better out the front door.

Hey, it's several weeks later and the deck looks a LOT better!

Flowers are blooming! Mommie says that they are winter aconite.

My first spring!

I look forward to exploring in the garden as everything springs to life.
